Welcome to Rev’d Sharon Wilkinson
A packed St Mary’s last night celebrated the induction and licensing of our new Vicar Rev’d Sharon Wilkinson. The service was conducted by the Bishop of Richmond Rt Rev’d Paul Slater and Archdeacon of Leeds Ven Paul Hooper.
Robert Brudenell who is patron of St Mary’s presented Rev’d Sharon to the Bishop, and local civil and community representatives were on hand to welcome her to the Parish.
It was wonderful to see so many from not only our Parish but from Rev’d Sharon’s previous parishes across the pennines who had made the journey over to support her.
We are looking forward to Rev’d Sharon’s first Sunday service this coming Sunday 26th June at 10.30am. All are welcome!
